I was born and raised in Domodossola, in the Italian alps. After travelling, I met a girl and moved to Canada. We now have two kids who inspired me to work on and illustrate books. We also have two dogs who inspire me less :-)
I am a professional artist. I started drawing when I was a child and never stopped. Art has taken me around North America and Europe, with exhibits in Milan, Paris, Florence, Venice, New York, Toronto, California etc. My mediums are acrylic and oil painting, sketch, digital illustrations, wood carving and photography. What flows from his hand is highly imaginative, dreamlike and flirts with the sub-concious, resulting in works that are curious, dark, and whimsical. His paintings are immediately recognizable, highly textured with a heavy brush that is both decisive and free. Contemporary, and romantic while paying subtle homage to the technique of classics. Available for private drawing lessons.
